The Lady Red'Dogs secured their first win of the conference season with a dramatic one-run win at Fayetteville Tuesday.

Springdale (2-21, 1-12) scored 14 of its 16 runs in the final five innings. Fayetteville led 9-2 entering the fourth inning before Springdale exploded for a six-run inning to pull it within striking distance.

Springdale then added two runs in the fifth and sixth innings before piling on four more in the eighth to grab a lead. Fayetteville (5-16, 1-12) scored three times in the home eighth but came up a run shy of sending the game to a ninth inning.
